Safety Training

MTA offers trucking companies the latest in safety training including the Michigan Center for Decision Driving, seminars on the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, hours-of-service, drug & alcohol testing and other safety-related issues.

MTA also partners with the North American Transportation Management Institute (NATMI) to provide Certified Safety Supervisor and Certified Director of Safety training.

MTA Truck PAC

This political action committee is the sole medium through which the Association and the trucking industry can, in a united effort, participate financially in election campaigns. Support of PAC is crucial to the financial well-being of the trucking industry--especially when discussing weight, tax and registration fee legislation.

Government Affairs Committee
